Xbox Live update 'fixed voice recognition issues'

Was designed to clear up problems affecting non-English speaking players

Yesterday's Xbox Live update was released to resolve voice recognition issues.

"The team released an Xbox 360 system update to quickly fix some voice recognition issues affecting our non-English speaking members," Microsoft's Major Nelson confirmed.

Microsoft previously said the update applied "behind the scenes stuff to keep Xbox Live the best experience possible".

Last week, an Xbox Live update was released to address colour issues that impacted the quality of video playback following December's launch of the Metro Xbox 360 dashboard.
