EA rules out Medal of Honor: Warfighter Bin Laden mission

"That's not our story to tell"

Just-announced EA sequel Medal of Honor: Warfighter is loosely based on the real life missions of Tier 1 Operatives - the same guys who successfully assassinated Osama Bin Laden last year.

You might think developer Danger Close could be tempted to feature the famous mission in its upcoming shooter follow-up then, but apparently that's not the case.

"That's not our story to tell," producer Greg Goodrich told OXM US when asked about a possible Bin Laden mission.

"That's 'family business' to [the Tier 1 Operators]," he added. "It's been an interesting exercise learning what's okay and what's not okay [to portray in the game]."

The first details on Warfighter, including word on co-op and multiplayer, emerged from the same mag this morning.
