Sony has confirmed that PS2 action game Primal is on its way to the PS Store for PS3.

The game was originally released in 2003, with what Sony describes as "ambitious, explorable environments, immersive artistry and non-throwaway storyline".
If your memory needs jogging take a trip back to CVG of 2002-03.

I remember Primal,i bought it and it was buggy as hell, got stuck in walls and everything....I took the game back in the end after getting fed up with it,no patches back then
I think i had a special edition with a silver cover as well

Ive still got my PS2 collection (160 +games) and a few years ago I ran this on my launch day PS3 in progressive scan mode and tbh it still looked pretty good! Seems like we have seen the last of built in backwards compatibility with services like this. Dunno why Sony have put so many crappy PS2 titles available for download though on the EU store, same as all the crappy PS1 games they put on there.

It's a shame there not giving us an HD version as this still looks pretty good now.

one of the best games on PS2 imho, shame it's not HD-ified, but it was pretty good looking back in 2003,
I also remember it being a little buggy, but I only ever got stuck in a wall memorably once, I think I was walking around somewhere as scree, and I got stuck to the inside of a wall near a waterfall somewhere.

can PS2 classics be patched, or are they fixed in any way during the porting process, or are they literally untouched transfers?
