BioWare has issued a statement to confirm its working on a fix for Mass Effect 3's troubled character importing feature.
It seems a significant number of users who attempt to load in Mass Effect 2 save files are getting an error message declaring the game's inability to import their character's custom face.
This comes after news earlier today that the game also cannot import save files stored in the cloud.
Here's BioWare's statement regarding a fix: "We are aware that some players are having issues importing the faces of characters from Mass Effect 1 or Mass Effect 2 into Mass Effect 3. The issue is likely in how faces were detected when imported from Mass Effect 1 into Mass Effect 2, and we're working on the best way to correct it for affected players."
The developer refers PC players to a "fan-made tool" for a temporary fix.
