EA's Medal of Honor: Warfighter, which is a shoo-in for our laziest video game title of the year award, has been given an official release date.
Danger Close's Frostbite 2-powered first-person shooter will be available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC from 23 October, EA has confirmed.
The date was announced at the game's official unveiling at GDC in San Francisco earlier today, the reveal also yielded a debut trailer chock full of explosions, marines crawling around, and all the other military mumbo jumbo we love in our FPS'.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter will once again follow the exploits of the Tier 1 Operators, a group of real-life soldiers you probably don't want to get on the wrong side of.
Unlike the first game released in the newly rebooted series, multiplayer is being developed in-house at Danger Close, instead of by DICE.
