Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Vita gets release date, first footage

Will be available in Japan from June 28, and in Europe this summer

Sony has confirmed that the PS Vita version of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be released in Japan on June 28 and in Europe this summer.

The release date was revealed in a video shown during the PlayStation Vita Game Heaven broadcast. Along with the release date confirmation, the video features Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima and other members of the team talking about the game and the handheld.

They're speaking in Japanese and there are no subtitles, but there's a bit of gameplay footage crammed in between the MGS chatter so it's worth checking out.
