Rayman Origins 3DS delayed

Game pushed into June for dev to "fine-tune a few details"

Ubisoft has delayed the European launch of Rayman Origins on 3DS.

Originally due for release yesterday, the game will now not make it to UK shelves until June 8 (via EG). The US release is currently still set for March 20, but that could change.

In response to questioning over the delay, Ubisoft said the extra three months will give it "the time for us to fine-tune a few details to make sure it's perfectly optimized for Nintendo's handheld console."

It added: "Sorry, we know many of you are eagerly waiting for it, but we really want you to love the game as much on 3DS as you did on Vita and on other consoles."
