Microsoft recruiting for 'AAAA console title'

Because triple-A wasn't enough

Microsoft is positioning itself to take game development to the next level by adding extra Awesome to its current Triple-Awesome development standard.

What do you mean the A in Triple-A doesn't stand for awesome? Whatever.

A job posting on Microsoft's official recruitment page seeks an "Executive Producer - Core Publishing" to work on "A major Xbox AAAA" console title.

"Microsoft Studios (Xbox) is looking for a dynamic and seasoned executive producer to lead and develop a world-class team who will own the creation and delivery of a AAAA experience that delivers on first party goals and, more importantly, creates a fun gaming experience for our audience," reads the ad.

Last week Microsoft inadvertently indicated it is full steam ahead with regard to the development of an Xbox 360 successor. It later outright denied the next-gen Xbox will be at E3 in June.
