Assassin's Creed 3 Multiplayer: What we want to see

This is our list, but what do YOU want to see?

After Assassin's Creed 2 and two subsequent stopgaps we've finally said goodbye to Ezio and his renaissance romp.

Ubisoft has seemingly gotten serious this time, throwing the pleasantly elaborate lifestyle of 15th century Italy out the window in favour of the brutal American Revolution. War is on the home soil, tearing through the landscape and changing inner workings of an entire country.

The details remain slim for now, but from what we've seen we're trusting Ubisoft to deliver a 'proper' sequel; after all, Assassin's 3 has been in development since Assassin's Creed 2 was released all the way back in 2009. For now though, we're free to speculate what we want from AC3 to make sure it's the biggest and best franchise entry to date.

If you can think of any other ways to make assassinating online more joyous let us know in the comments below.

Posse Up

Ubisoft give you this huge open environment rich with detail and atmosphere that's begging to be explored and clambered upon. Standard multiplayer is fun, but it doesn't take advantage of the amazingly crafted world that surrounds you, and that feels like a missed opportunity.

We want to see Ubi take a leaf out of Rockstar's award-laden book and throw us a world where freedom is everything. Let us party up with a lobby full of other assassins to screw around, let us enjoy the revolution together without having to worry about being ganked the entire time. We're not all about murdering, you know, we like the sound of spending hours just exploiting the limitations of a world, we want to be able to explore those boundaries with our buddies.

We wouldn't turn down a few entertaining activities too. We don't want to be just jumping around on rooftops for weeks after release, as fun as that sounds, we'll be doing enough of that throughout the main campaign. Three years is a long time to develop a game, so make the wait worthwhile and we'll pledge to spend our hard earned cash come release day.
