Fresh footage of LucasArts' canned Star Wars: Battlefront 3 has appeared online.
Battlefront 3 was of course in development at defunct UK developer Free Radical, before LucasArts mysteriously pulled the plug on the project. After very public money problems Free Radical was acquired and rebranded by German Crysis house Crytek.
It's a shame because FR's version of the game, as you can see in this leaked footage and the video below, was looking promising.
The series was rumoured to have been picked up by both Pandemic and Rebellion, claims which the earlier developer denied.
In 2010 Slant Six Games, which worked on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, was linked to the Battlefront 3 project - and code mentioning the Star Wars game has since been found in the aforementioned zombie romp.
A job listing and CV recently suggested Battlefront 3 could still be in development at Spark Unlimited, the studio that is best known for dodgy shooters Call of Duty: Finest Hour and Legendary: The Box.
