Famitsu has published the first concept art for Killer is Dead, the freshly announced PS3 and Xbox 360 game from Goichi Suda's Grasshopper Manufacture.
The artwork was posted on Andriasang, which says publisher Kadokawa Games has confirmed that worldwide release plans are in place for the title.
Set for release in 2013, the game will be directed by Suda, who says it will retain "the essence of Killer 7 and No More Heroes" but it isn't a sequel to either.
Players take control of a prisoner who has been sentenced to death and must kill their would-be assassin. Pitched thematically as a "Dark Side 007", it'll feature a focus on swordplay and "beautiful Bond Girl-like ladies".
