EA has applied changes to its policies for Origin that loosen restrictions on banned users.
Those who have been banned from the digital service can now still access their purchased games library to play single-player games offline.
Naughty users who got the boot had previously found themselves unable to access any of the games they'd paid for - a controversial policy that EA has clearly reflected on in recent months.
EA explains: "For PC games you will need to enable Origin's offline mode to play games with a disabled account. Go to the settings tab in Origin (the gear icon) and select Go Offline."
EA notes that "the majority of banned or suspended accounts are only suspended temporarily," and that you can appeal any applied ban via the instructions on this page.
