Eurocom, developer of the surprisingly not offensive Goldeneye 007 for the Nintendo Wii and its shockingly poor upgrade for Xbox 360 and PS3, will be creating a new title to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the suave spy.
007 Legends will feature an all-new storyline with missions based on six classic James Bond films. Activision has only mentioned Skyfall, the upcoming movie starring English man mountain Daniel Craig, as one of the six.
"To honour 50 years of the world's top secret agent, 007 Legends offers a collection of his most famed moments in the smartest and most treacherous Bond game yet," said Activision Publishing's EVP David Oxford.
"Creating a videogame storyline that ties together six popular, yet very different, Bond movie narratives can be challenging, but together with EON Productions our developer Eurocom has pulled it off."
Legends will also see the "return of fan-favorite single-player Mi6 Ops Missions" similar to those in Reloaded. Agents will be able to play as a Bond hero or villain and "reliving the missions through their eyes, as well as 007′s."
It'll also offer up four-player split-screen local multiplayer and also online multiplayer with content representing 50 years of Bond.
