DJ Max Technika hits US Vitas this summer

Korean rhythm-action title making its way west

The Vita port of Korean Rhythm-action arcade game, DJ Max Technika Tune, will arrive in US in summer, developer Pentavision has confirmed.

DJ Max is an arcade music game published and developed by Pentavision in South Korea. It uses the Vita's touch screen to create a rhythm-based game of timing and reactions - something that fans of Ouendan/Elite Beat Agents will consider familiar.

According to the developer, "the PlayStation Vita version will feature a new play style to the arcade version, utilising both front and rear touch pads, as well as the return of OST and M/V modes."

The Vita version is also said to have more songs than any previous game in the series.

Here's a gameplay trailer to give you a sense of how it works.
