The BioShock game announced for Vita last year has been put on the back burner until BioShock Infinite is finished.
That's according to Irrational Games boss Ken Levine, who has told Wired that his dev team are fully focused on the third console title at the moment.
"These games really are all-consuming endeavors," he said when asked if both games were being developed simultaneously.
"You do want to keep the ball rolling but it is tough to give it your full attention before you finish what you have. But we're getting there with Infinite," said Levine.
"We're not as focused on the Vita game as we will be," he added (thanks GameSpot).
Levine said last year that the team could "potentially" outsource development of the PlayStation Vita BioShock game - but only if he can ensure it'll still hit the quality mark the series is know for.
Given his recent statements though, it sounds like Irrational have chosen to keep the Vita game in house.
