Creator of the much loved biker drama 'Sons of Anarchy', Kurt Sutter, has announced plans to scrap a browser-based game adaptation in favour of a console title.
Kurt Sutter tweeted yesterday that he's leaving the browser-based game in the dust to take on a console title.
Sutter's tweet read "[Sons of Anarchy] update. Had a great meeting with a distributor yesterday. Myself and everyone at FX and Fox is dedicated to making this happen." He went on to say that "we definitely want to do a real game. Console based. Not some slapcrap browser MP thing. It'll take a while but it's the right way to go."
The Sons of Anarchy game is obviously still in early stages of development, so there is no talk of release dates and there isn't even a story yet, the only information we know at the moment is that Sutter definitely wants to do it.
Sutter divulged on Twitter yesterday that the game would "appeal to women gamers as well." What this means exactly is anyone's guess.
From Sutter's tweets it is safe to assume that the game will not follow in the footsteps of Telltale's The Walking Dead, as Sutter found "it felt rushed and a bit unsatisfying."
