We're going to level with you: this week has been a bit of a blur, along with constantly firing up news stores we've been frantically preparing for E3, which - excitingly - is almost upon us.
But in between the madness we've been dipping in and out of the comments. As always there have been a few comments here and there that stuck out for one reason or another. Below you'll find a few of them, these are our comments of the week.
Black Ops 2: New engine isn't necessary - Treyarch Pokémon Black & White 2 animated trailer has maximum buttrock
For those of you who don't understand Japanese, I've managed to translate some of it for you.
They say the word 'Pokemon' at 1:23, 1:58, 2:03 and 3:49.
We're in awe of your command of Japanese Rob_3005

Pokemon are known to be very protective of their properties Balladeer. Pikachu has a fierce legal team.
Things that need a break:
Call of Duty
Britain's Got Talent
My missus' nagging
That is all.
Is that ranked in order of priority richomack360?
When discussing Power, I think Snap said it best:
Like the crack of the whip I snap attack
Front to back in this thing called rap
Dig it like a shovel rhyme devil
On a heavenly level
Bang the bass turn up the treble
Radical mind day and night all the time
Seven to fourteen wise divine
Maniac brainiac winning the game
I'm the lyrical Jesse James
I've got the power!
Well, can't argue with that StonecoldMC
Totally Psyched for Halo 4. With every new detail that emerges I'm getting more amped.
Not sure why there's any negativity surround the series, its a AAA series and its delivered every time, six times over the past decade. Very few shooters and indeed series, have managed to do that. With a highly talented fresh new studio in place that have had plenty of time and way more financial resources than any studio has a right to expect, this is gonna raise the bar for FPS's all over again.
As for the control issues, firstly you don't click in the left stick you click in the right one, so i'm not convinced you play that much halo. Also its universally accepted (whatever else you may think of it) that Halo proved FPS are perfect for consoles and there are no control issues for console fps, when half-life and counter-strike players were saying that mouse and keyboard was the only way to go. It wasn't Unreal Tournament on the Dreamcast that did this and it wasn't Goldeneye on the N64 that did this (N64 didn't have twin sticks so aiming was fiddly and there was auto aim to compensate for that on Goldeneye), it was Halo. End of.
As for missing industry standards and being a copy and paste job that's just bull. It has set the highest industry standards, that's why a 10 year old game engine can still have relevance today (with CE Anniversary) and how 2009's ODST was based on a six year old engine from a previous console cycle (Halo 2). Copy and paste? No, Halo 4 will be using an engine based on Reach but adapted and updated with better physics, AI and graphics. Every game has scored high on metacritic. Stop with the negativity and get excited for the return of the Chief.
We like your passion combatevolved, we're cautiously optimistic about Halo 4 at the moment, maybe it's because it looks a bit too familiar.
So he's the guy who made the big purple dildo?
Give that man a wage rise .
Ba-dum-tissshhh, Well done StonecoldMC, have a cookie (we will not pay for it).
That's an absolutely fair attitude to take. Final Fantasy VII is still widely accessible - be it from the PS Store, eBay or whatever, people who want to play it can do so easily. Make it if you get the time, but for now concentrate on bringing us new games.
And finish Versus XIII, Nomura.
We weren't expecting that response lordirongut, we expected way more F-bombs. Good on ya.
Mirror's Edge 2. Yes please.
Mirror's Edge was one of my favourite games of forever, it's one of those games where it shows the community that innnovation is still alive. Oh, and it wasn't grey.
The lack of grey is what we love about it too GamerRespawned
