Rockstar has pushed back the PC launch of Max Payne 3 a few days, from May 29 to June 1, due to "production and logistical issues".
Rockstar's Jennifer Kolbe explained in the announcement, "Our community has always preferred a single worldwide launch date, and while we couldn't make it happen for the console versions, we decided to work toward a global release for Max Payne 3 on PC."
She went on to blame "production and logistical issues" for the delay, which prevented them from bringing the EU launch forward to hit the May date. So, in the interests of doing a global launch, it "worked with US retail to align with the original European launch window and set a new global release date of June 1."
The game's pretty bloody good though, so a few extra days wait shouldn't deter you.
