World in Conflict, Assassin's Creed Revelations and currently Far Cry 3 multiplayer dev Ubisoft Massive is working on an MMO for next-gen systems.
A fresh job ad outright states the studio is staffing up for a "highly ambitious AAA Next-gen Online RPG project" and mentions that applicants should be familiar with the workings of PvP in an online environment.
Current speculation is that Massive is working on an Assassin's Creed MMO, which both excites and terrifies us.
Earlier this month Ubisoft revealed plans to invest $500 million in growing its new Toronto studio in an attempt to replicate the success of its successful Montreal one. The studio is headed up by ex-Assassin's Creed producer Jade Raymond and is working on the next Splinter Cell game.
It has also confirmed it is working on Rayman Legends, a sequel to the critically-acclaimed Rayman Origins. Things are looking good for Ubi.
