Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick expects the publisher to lead the charge on next-gen consoles.
Speaking on an earnings call last night, Zelnick said the company's mix of strong technology, wholly-owned IP and top talent will stand it in good stead for the upcoming console transition.
"We expect to be at the front of the line," he said (via IGN).
"While our financial results were disappointing, the decisions we made position Take-Two for growth and profitability both this year and over the long-term."
Back in April Zelnick said he doesn't expecting THQ to be setting the gold standard on next-gen platforms. In fact, he predicted that the Saints Row publisher "won't be around in six months".
