Sega has released a user modding tool for Total War: Shogun 2 - the first editing tools in the Total War series.
Creatively titled 'The Editor', or "TEd" apparently, it lets you knock together your own multiplayer maps and custom VS AI battles for both Shogun 2 and its recent standalone expansion Fall of The Samurai.
"Total War has enjoyed a strong and dedicated modding community down the years, and we want to do more to support that", said Total War brand director Rob Bartholomew. "With TEd at their fingertips, we're expecting to see new battle-maps for Shogun 2 that will equal our own in popularity".
All owners of Shogun 2 and the expansion can download the tool now for free via the 'Tools' section of Steam.
