Portal co-creator's Quantum Conundrum dated

PC version launching on Steam later this month

The PC version of Quantum Conundrum will launch on June 21 on Steam.

You can pre-order it now in two flavours, a standard edition and one with a 'Season Pass' offering the soundtrack and two upcoming pieces of DLC.

Pre-order it and you'll also get ten percent off the regular price and access to three Team Fortress 2 items today:

  • The Atomic Accolade - Skip past all the boring busywork of science and get right to the exciting part: the fabulous prizes! This prestigious ribbon certifies your bravery in the field of excellence.
  • The Quadwrangler - This quantum-collared lab coat includes a handy rubber pipe that siphons blood from your heart, where it is not needed, to your shooting arm, where it is!
  • The Professor's Pineapple - We don't know what's in it, but we found it in some rusty drums buried in a shallow grave in a forest, so let's face it, you'll probably get super powers if you drink it.

The downloadable first-person puzzler was helmed by Portal co-creator Kim Swift, who now serves as creative director at Airtight Games, which previously worked on Dark Void for Capcom.

It's also coming to PS3 and Xbox 360, and yesterday's Quantum Conundrum E3 trailer had all versions down for a summer release. We'll get in touch with publisher Square Enix now to see if we can get console release dates.
