Sony's widely rumoured cloud gaming deal with Gaikai will reportedly enable PS3 owners to play streamed PS2 and PSone titles.
The service will feature a range of classic first party games and also allow third parties to sell their back catalogues, sources told GamesIndustry.biz.
Gaikai currently offers streamed games to PCs from partners including EA, Ubisoft and Capcom.
Some reports have gone as far as to claim that Sony is set to acquire Gaikai. Hopefully all will be revealed during the platform holder's E3 conference on Monday evening (2am Tuesday UK time).
