Sony's set to reveal "the future of PlayStation Plus" at its E3 press conference on Monday, the platform holder's teased on its website.
The tease backs up a report from earlier this week, which claimed Sony's set to unveil Vita integration and the offering of 'top tier games' for free to subscribers as part of a wider refresh for the subscription service.
It's claimed that a big refresh will be focussed on wooing more gamers into the paid service.
Sony declined to respond to the original report, but PlayStation Plus content manager Ross McGrath seemed pretty pumped about something. "If you don't have a PS+ subscription, now is the time to get one. For real. Just get 3 months if you aren't sure. Trust me," he said on Twitter recently.
Sony's E3 press conference is set to kick off tomorrow at 6pm PST / 2am BST, with live streaming and coverage right here on CVG. For more E3 planning fun, stick your eyes on our E3 diary.
