Criterion returns to open-world racing with Need for Speed Most Wanted

Will use second generation of Autolog tech

Criterion has revealed at EA's E3 press conference that Need for Speed: Most wanted will see the developer return to the open-world format.

The last open-world racer Criterion developed was Burnout: Paradise, which is widely regarded as one of the best racing games of this generation.

EA said game will also feature a new-and-improved version of the Autolog network introduced in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.

A release date is scheduled for October 30th on Xbox 360 and PS3.
