Sony and Microsoft have both put their cards on the table. Who's taking the winnings?
The highlight of the Sony show was undoubtedly Naughty Dog's The Last of Us demo - our first proper look at the game being played - which had the crowd cheering at certain points of the demo.
If the lengthy presentation of interactive storybook software Wonderbook didn't put you to sleep, you'll have also caught the God of War: Ascension demo, which looked absolutely stunning too, as did the new glimpse of Assassin's Creed 3.
If you were here for new announcements, you got some good ones. Heavy Rain creator David Cage's new game, Beyond: Two Souls looked very intriguing indeed, and we learned of Far Cry 3's dedicated co-op campaign for up to four players.
On the Vita side, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassification was announced but, much to our disappointment, was not shown.
Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation was a top-notch announcement for Vita owners, and brief gameplay footage was sweet.
So what was your highlight of the show? And did Sony's offering top Microsoft's? Sound off in the comments.
