New multiplayer DLC called Mass Effect: Earth is in the works at BioWare, according to a tipster with good past form.
Reddit user derptemp6698, who outed and accurately detailed Mass Effect 3's Rebellion Pack weeks ahead of its official announcement, claims the DLC will introduce new weapons and maps for Rio, Vancouver and London.
They said: "The fighting is fiercest when it's your home at stake! Mass Effect 3: Earth adds mods, gear, and new maps for Rio, Vancouver, and London. It features 3 new weapons: Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol, and Typhoon light machine gun. Six new human N7 classes are also available: Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury!"
derptemp6698 also provided the following information on the Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut DLC, which is due for release this summer and is being designed to offer users more personalised endings that better reflect the choices they made throughout the trilogy.
The tipster suggested it'll offer "an expanded ending for Mass Effect 3. Additional scenes and an extended epilogue reveal the impact of Shepard's choices on the future of the galaxy."
Contacted by Kotaku about the report, EA said it doesn't comment on rumour or speculation.
