Ubisoft is in talks with Paramount Pictures over making a new Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell movie.
Deadline reports that the video game publisher was originally speaking with Warner Bros., but it seems that negotiation may have fallen away as the site says Paramount is now leading discussions.
The movie studio has reportedly told the site 'there is no deal' but refused to comment further.
Deadline says the Paramount deal is "likely", although Ubisoft will be apparently be deeply involved. The deal can also only be helped along by the fact that Paramount is already working stories from novelist Tom Clancy.
Let's hope these talks go better than the Halo and Uncharted movies, eh?
