Diablo 3 completed on Inferno with Hardcore character

Canadian becomes first player in the world to do it

A Canadian Diablo 3 player has become the first person in the world to complete Blizzard's top-down dungeon crawler on the Inferno difficulty level.

No only did Kripparrian (with help from wizard friend Krippi) click his way to victory on the hardest difficulty level in the game but he did it with a Hardcore character, which means when the little demon slayer dies the game ends.

Although there was initially some confusion over whether Kripp was actually the first person to manage the feat, Blizzard's community manager Bashiok cleared it up after consulting his spreadsheet, which we assume is enchanted in some way.

"My apologies Kripp and Krippi, looks like you were 1st HC Inferno clear (my spreadsheet deciphering isn't what it used to be) Congrats!," he said in a Tweet.

Blizzard has since released patch 1.0.3 for Diablo making the Inferno difficulty level a little more reasonable. This means, regardless of how hard you try, you will never be as awesome as Kripp, who will undoubtedly become filthy rich based off this achievement and definitely won't be forgotten a week from now.

Diablo 3 patch 1.0.3 is out now and Blizzard has released the massive list of changes it brings.
