The Fatal Frame franchise (or Project Zero as it's known in Japan) is now co-owned by Nintendo.
That's according to thriller and survival horror specialist site Rely on Horror, which also states that Nintendo has secured complete ownership over Spirit Camera, a spin-off series.
The remainder of the property rights are retained by third-party publisher Tecmo Koei. Nintendo's stake in the series means it is unlikely to appear on other consoles, as has been rumoured in the past.
A Wii version of Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly is scheduled for release next week and a new story trailer and gameplay video have been released in the lead up, which you can see below.
