12 VIDEO GUIDES: How to master Valve's new Source Filmmaker

Tutorials explain animating, rigging, editing, lighting, graph editors, audio and more

Valve Software has once again used Team Fortress 2 as the bedrock for its experimentation, this time by using the game's cast and locations as props for the new Filmmaker animation engine.

The Source Filmmaker allows Steam owners to capture in-game footage which can then be edited through a comprehensive number of pre-made animations, freedom to arrange the camera, as well as a fairly robust body and animation editor.

The service is currently in beta. An introductory video tutorial can be found below. Further down are tweleve more detailed guides into using the tool.
