Clint Hocking quits LucasArts

Splinter Cell and Far Cry developer has new job in the pipeline

The popular games developer Clint Hocking has departed from LucasArts after two quiet years where none of his projects were made public.

Hocking had previously worked at Ubisoft in Canada for about nine years, contributing to some of the publisher's most lucrative franchises such as Splinter Cell and Far Cry.

In a message on his personal blog, Hocking said: "I recently left my job at LucasArts and am moving on to something new. I already have something lined up and I am currently in the process of dealing with the living hell of relocation".

The reasons for his departure were not made clear.
