Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Collection listed for PC

Amazon attaches July 17 release date

GameStop and Amazon have listed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Collection, suggesting LucasArts will be re-releasing BioWare's critically acclaimed RPG and Obsidian's sequel.

The compilation has appeared on GameStop's internal system and is listed as a PC exclusive carrying a $20 price tag.

Amazon has listed the product as "Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic I and II PC Bundle Pack" and says it will be released on July 17, 2012.

The first Knights of the Old Republic was release in 2003 and racked up numerous awards including a Game Developers Choice Award and a BAFTA Games Award. It was released for Mac a few months ago via Valve's Steam service.

Following the sequel BioWare focused its efforts on developing its own properties, so Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords was worked on by Obsidian Entertainment. It released two years after the original and was also well-received.

At E3 LucasArts revealed Star War 1313, a new game targeted at a mature audience. It also showed off a jaw-dropping demo of the game.
