Activision confirms Black Ops 2 Nuketown map

Re-imagined multiplayer arena for pre-order customers only

Activision has officially confirmed rumours that Nuketown, a multiplayer map from Treyarch's first Black Ops, will be reimagined for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Nuketown 2025 will be available to those that pre-order this year's Call of Duty at participating retailers and will become downloadable when the game is released in November.

Activision hasn't detailed participating retailers yet but last week CVG readers reported in-store sightings of the pre-order deal at specialist retailer GAME.

"Multiplayer fans of Call of Duty: Black Ops LOVE Nuketown," said Treyarch's Mark Lamia. "Flat out, Nuketown was a blast to play before, and we're excited about the reimagined Nuketown 2025 in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. We can't wait to play with everyone come this November."

Here's 11 minutes of Black Ops 2 gameplay footage taken from the Microsoft E3 press conference.
