DICE has revealed a new 'Matches' feature for Battlefield 3.
According to the developer, Matches "will allow players to coordinate competitive multiplayer sessions with their friends and squad members" giving those players the ability to "select the time, server, game settings, and roster for their Matches creating a controlled and definitive environment for competitive play".
Players on all three platforms will get access to Matches through Battlelog, but must be actively renting a server to do so. "Once a dedicated server has been selected the Match host can set the Match name, start time, game mode, team size, and map rotations," explains DICE.
It promised "more details including a release date" soon. Head through the source link for a load more details with screenshots.
