Mass Effect 3 'Earth' multiplayer DLC out next week

Microsoft dates previously rumored multiplayer maps

BioWare will release a new multiplayer DLC pack for Mass Effect 3 titled 'Earth' on July 17.

Confirmation came via official Microsoft blog man Major Nelson who posted a list of release dates for upcoming Xbox Live content.

Despite BioWare remaining tight-lipped on pack's contents, a tipster who had previously accurately leaked details on Mass Effect 3 DLC said last month that an 'Earth' download is coming, and would contain new weapons and maps for Rio, Vancouver and London.

They also appeared to leak some official PR for the pack: "The fighting is fiercest when it's your home at stake! Mass Effect 3: Earth adds mods, gear, and new maps for Rio, Vancouver, and London. It features 3 new weapons: Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol, and Typhoon light machine gun. Six new human N7 classes are also available: Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury!"

And the best news - it'll be completely free. Look out for it next Tuesday.

On the topic of leaked Mass Effect 3 DLC info, voice actor Anthony Skordi today (seemingly prematurely) confirmed the existence of the previously rumoured 'Leviathan' downloadable campaign expansion.
