Clint Hocking, former creative director at Ubisoft Montreal and LucasArts, has revealed he has joined Valve.
Hocking revealed the news through his Twitter, where he posted a picture of his son scaling one of the giant valves in the Half-Life 2 studio's Seattle office. The image was accompanied by the words "Arrival. (and Son)".
Hocking previously worked at Ubisoft's Canadian studio for around nine years. His most notable projects include the Splinter Cell and Far Cry franchises. He made the move to LucasArts in 2012 to work "an unannounced project".
Last month Hocking posted a message on his personal blog confirming his departure from LucasArts to move "on to something new". Evidently that something new is at Valve.
Half-Life 3 concept art recently leaked onto the internet. Maybe he's working on that?
