US Nintendo downloads: Kid Icarus, programming tool

All this week's new Wii, DSi and 3DS downloads

We've got the list of new downloads for Nintendo platforms in US this week and it's an interesting one.

To start with there are some decent games to check out; Kid Icarus - Of Myths and Monsters is sure to grab your interest if you're into Game Boy classics.

But more of a surprise is Tiny Computer - a simple programming app that lets you create small programs in BASIC, including simple video games, if you have the know-how. You'll need to do a little learning if you've no prior programming experience, but this could be your first step to becoming the next Shigeru Miyamoto.

Nintendo eShop
Kid Icarus - Of Myths and Monsters - The "8-bit Summer" series continues with this classic action game from 1991. Angel Land is up to its halos in woes as mythical monsters are running rampant. Pit, the original Kid Icarus, must save the realm again. (For Nintendo 3DS)

Tumble Pop - Thanks to pollution and other global calamities, Earth is overflowing with strange creatures. What's more, aliens from outer space have come to crash the party. It's your job to exterminate all the monsters plaguing the planet. (For Nintendo 3DS)

Dinosaur Office: Sick Day (available July 20 at 3 p.m. PT) - Craig takes a sick day to stay at home, but that doesn't stop his nosy coworkers from interrupting his precious R&R time. (For Nintendo 3DS)

Game of the Weekend
Mario's Picross - The "Game of the Weekend" program is featuring Mario's Picross. For a limited time, this fun and challenging puzzler is available at a special price of $2.99. Offer is valid from 9 a.m. Pacific time on Friday, July 20, through 9 p.m. Pacific time on Sunday, July 22. (For Nintendo 3DS)
