What the bloody hell is Dead Island developer Techland up to? All sorts, it seems, as another eyebrow-raising trademark surfaces.
A trademark for a game called 'Dead Stop' has been spotted by the people who watch such things like hawks. More specifically for "entertainment services and providing an online game via an application for mobile phones and other electronic apparatus".
The latter stipulations would appear to distance this from the previously spied 'Dead World' trademark, which suggested the zombie outbreak could be leaving the island of Banoi for a second game.
Despite mixed reviews, Dead Island was still popular enough to ship one million copies in a week in North America.
