That's according to CEO Strauss Zelnick, who told investors during the publisher's Q1 2013 earnings call: "The outlook for our slate of upcoming releases is stronger than ever.
"Early consumer enthusiasm suggests robust demand for our extraordinary line-up of upcoming releases, particularly Borderlands 2, NBA 2K13 and BioShock Infinite."
Borderlands 2 "pre-orders are currently the third highest of any title in Take-Two's history, behind only Grand Theft Auto 4 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas", he added (thanks, OXM).
Unlike its predecessor, Borderlands 2 will release uncut globally, meaning even Australian and German players will be able to experience it in all its gory glory.
Take-Two has confirmed a September 18 Borderlands 2 release date in the US, with the game set to launch internationally three days later.
