EA has confirmed the previously rumoured Battlefield 3 Premium Edition, and slapped a release date on the game's Armored Kill DLC.
Battlefield 3 Premium Edition will include Battlefield 3, all Battlefield Premium content (including five themed DLC packs), and a 'Multiplayer Head-Start Kit' which automatically unlocks 15 different weapons, gadgets and vehicle upgrades.
Priced at $69.99, it'll be available in the US on September 11 and in Europe on September 13 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Speaking during EA's Gamescom media briefing, Battlefield executive producer Patrick Bach said Battlefield 3's Armored Kill DLC pack will launch next month, with PS3 Premium members getting first access on September 4.
He also revealed that the Aftermath DLC, available in December, will allow players to use modified military and civilian vehicles, while next year's End Game DLC will introduce motorcycles to the series.
