Final Fantasy VII finally went live on the Square Enix online store yesterday, but Australian gamers are still waiting.
Final Fantasy VII was made available for many regions yesterday on the Square Enix online store, but sadly those of us in Australia were unable to make the purchase.
Kotaku reached out to the Australian Square Enix distributors asking why Aussie's couldn't purchase the game. They got a response, but it's neither positive or helpful.
The statement was simply: "SQUARE ENIX Store will be available in Australia and New Zealand soon."
There was no reason provided, no discernible time frame for when Australian's could purchase the game, just that it will be available soon.
If you're in Australia and were looking forward to playing this PC reboot, unfortunately you'll have to wait until Square Enix is ready to make the store available.
For those living in other parts of the world, you can buy it now from the Square Enix store.
