Sony has apologised for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's no-show on PS3 in Europe today.
The game is available on PC and Xbox 360 globally, and on PS3 in the US, but a European release this week on Sony's console now appears uncertain as the tactical shooter wasn't featured in today's EU PlayStation Store update.
Sony said in a statement issued to CVG: "Unfortunately counter strike has not been made available on the European PlayStation store today, and we apologise to those of you who were looking forward to playing it. We hope to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, and will let you know if the situation changes."
We said in our 8/10 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive review, which went live earlier today: "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a great introduction to the renowned shooter series, but veterans may feel there simply isn't enough new material here to justify the encore."
