Molyneux's next game is 'Cooperation'

Curiosity follow-up already in the making

Peter Molyneux's new studio 22 Cans may be about to release its first game, but Molyneux has already started talking about the follow-up.

The Fable creator's next game will be called 'Cooperation' (or 'Co-operation' East of the pond), he told Polygon.

"Cooperation is very, very different, maybe it's not a game, or maybe you'd call it a social game," he went on to hint, without giving too much away.

"If you think of [Curiosity] being the biggest mystery posted to the digital world, Cooperation is the biggest cooperative effort the world has ever known," claimed Molyneux.

The former Microsoft developer was hesitant to say anything more about the title, other than it would be competitive in nature (which is ironic, don't you think?).

22 Cans' first game, 'Curiosity: What's in the Cube' for iOS, is more a social experiment than a game, and will place all players in the same virtual room containing a single cube that users tap away at, causing fractures. Eventually the cube will break open, revealing something "truly amazing" and "absolutely unique", according to Molyneux, but only the player who delivers the decisive final tap will get to see what.
