Supergiant Games has confirmed its brilliant RPG Bastion will release on iPad tomorrow, August 30 (or now if you live in New Zealand), for $4.99.
Bastion is gorgeous-looking RPG that puts you in control of a kid whose whole world got all twisted - leaving him stranded on a rock in the sky, setting the scene for an artistic and charming quest.
The game debuted on Xbox Live Arcade in July 2011, closely followed by an enhanced PC port (here's our Bastion Review). Supergiant Games says the iPad version "reimagines the play experience to work intuitively using the iPad's touch screen". It also comes with Retina support for the third iPad, 20 Game Center achievements and the Stranger's Dream sequence DLC built in.
The game isn't compatible with the first-generation iPad, and requires iOS 5.1 or higher.
