Keiji Inafune, Capcom's former global head of production and the creator of Mega Man, Onimusha and Dead Rising, is working on a new zombie game, according to the latest issue of Famitsu.
The Japanese mag reports that the title is going by the codename 'Yaiba', which translates to 'Blade'. Famitsu claims the game will be "novel", "nostalgic" and feature "things never seen in a zombie game".
Official images, details on supported platforms and a release date are expected to be revealed soon. Inafune previously promised that he'll unveil a "surprise" at this year's Tokyo Game Show, so it's possible we'll see more of Yaiba next month.
