During the iPhone 5 reveal early this morning in San Fransciso, EA showed off a live demo of Real Racing 3, which has been optimised for the latest device.
The screenshot you see here is taken from the live demo of Real Racing 3 on the iPhone 5. That's right, an iPhone.
Real Racing 3 is being developed by EA's Australia-based Firemonkeys studio and will take complete advantage of the 4-inch retina display and new power and graphics capabilities of the iPhone 5.
EA boasts in a press release that Real Racing 3 has "console quality graphics" and "features dynamic reflections, plus an all-new rearview mirror that will give players important clues about their competitors, as well as time shifted multiplayer, a brand new feature that leverages Game Center iOS 6 challenges."
Rob Murray, Executive Producer at Firemonkeys, says "Apple technology continues to evolve the mobile games experience, and we believe games like Real Racing 3 best highlight what consumers have to look forward to with these advancements," with Real Racing 3 delivering "a mobile gaming experience that rivals many console games."
If you think Real Racing looks cool, keep an eye out for the "key titles" that EA plans to optimise for the iPhone 5.
