Sony's Tokyo Game Show conference kicks off at 5am BST tomorrow, Wednesday September 19.
The platform holder is being widely tipped to reveal a new PS3 model at the event in Japan. According to reports the new console could release on Friday September 28 in two flavours, a cheap model offering 12GB of flash memory and a pricier 500GB one.

In July it emerged that Sony Computer Entertainment had submitted what appear to be plans for a new PS3 model to the Federal Communications Commission.
While the PS3 hardware refresh remains a rumour for now, Sony has announced plans to showcase a new head mounted display at TGS on September 22.
