PES 2013: First DLC drops detailed

More licensed stadiums, kit and transfer updates, plus social features

Konami has detailed the first two rounds of DLC for PES 2013.

Arriving in October, the first DLC will add the three licensed stadiums of the newly-promoted Spanish clubs (Deportivo de La Coruņa, Celta de Vigo, Real Valladolid), and update the kits for 37 licensed clubs including Marseille, Ajax, Porto, Besiktas and Corinthians.

It will also feature a "Widget system that acts as a shortcut to gathering friends together for online matches and introduces a Ranking system".

"PES 2013 allows up to eight people to play in a match simultaneously, and the new download adds Community modes, wherein friends can be automatically selected from a pre-determined list, and allows Communities to track and monitor their results," Konami says.

"The free update unlocks the Incentives element of the myPES Facebook app, wherein achievements are rewarded and can be shown via the Social Networking service. Users can also now concede a match at half-time, while Master League Online fans will be paired against similarly-rated peers in a new Rival Ranking system."

A second DLC pack will released in mid-October, reflecting all summer transfers and adding more stadiums, UEFA elements, team updates, and online element updates.

PES 2013 hits UK stores this Friday. CVG's PES 2013 review calls the first of this year's football contenders "the finest PES of the generation, delightfully recreating the ebb and flow of the modern game."
