Square Enix is giving the original Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days a HD makeover and sending them to the PS3, in a collection known as the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix.
Kingdom Hearts seems to get a lot of re-releases. Chain of Memories was once a Gameboy Advance game, then it was re-released on the PS2, and now it's getting ported to the PS3.
The original Kingdom Hearts in this new collection will be the Final Mix version, the Japanese exclusive which added new content. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days will probably need a lot of work to port it to the PS3 considering it was on the DS. Speculation says that the game won't be playable, only the cutscenes will be remade.
According to NeoGaf's translation of the original Famitsu report, there will also be a Kingdom Hearts browser-based game coming to PC, which is set to be an online card game within the Kingdom Hearts world.
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and Chain of Memories will also have trophy support.
Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix is set for release in Japan next year, and we expect to hear more on a Western release at TGS.
